School Outreach

GNOYO introduces an outreach program to local public school band directors to encourage participation and support of GNOYO. This program will allow 10 selected band directors to bring their five  best students to GNOYO concerts free of charge.

This program will provide the opportunity to expose an even larger audience to GNOYO.  Public school bands often do not have string instruments and certain woodwinds, and bringing these students to GNOYO concerts would expose them to a full orchestra, thereby expanding their music horizons. The school outreach program will not only help bring new students to GNOYO, but it would also serve the community by enhancing the musical experience of local public school students, educating them in orchestral musical performance, and inspiring them to become a part of an even larger musical ensemble.
